Superior Boiler is an American boiler manufacturer with roots dating back to 1917, when Hugh C. Gass founded Superior Welding Shop in Hutchinson, Kansas. During World War II, the company trained approximately 200 welders for the war effort. Strategic acquisitions expanded the portfolio: Triad Boiler in 2014 (vertical firetube) and English Boiler in 2016 (watertube). By 2021, the company had grown to 300,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space. In 2023, Superior shipped its 20,000th National Board-registered boiler. Recently acquired by Watts Water Technologies. Known as 'Superior Problem Solvers' with boiler capacities ranging from 7 to 14,507 HP.
